The Barcelona Zoo Foundation awards €88,000 in research and conservation grants
A total of 11 projects, selected from among the 29 applications received, will benefit from the Foundation’s research and conservation programme.
Four female Northern Bald Ibises join the Zoo
The members of this new species, the Northern Bald Ibis (Geronticus eremita) have already arrived at the Zoo. They are 4 females from Nordens Ark (Sweden), in line with recommendations of the European Endangered Species Programme (EEP) for the species.
