Today at the Zoo Camp we have learned about the environments different animals are adapted to.
Over the first hours we have been able to feed the Humboldt penguins, which are adapted to live in the warm waters of South America’s western coast.
At the terrarium, we have seen several reptiles from savannahs, deserts and forests.
Finally, we have prepared an enrichment for the Hornbills, who had a great time breaking the squash we filled with the larval form of the mealworm beetle.
Now it's time to prepare a piñata for the lions and finish a termite nest for the anteater!
