This week we have researched all mammals from the largest to the smallest!
Some eat herbs, vegetables or fruits that eat meat or fish. And those who eat everything.
We were lucky enough to give some food and prepare enquiments (very fun toys!).
There are also those who live out of the water and move by walking, jumping or hanging from trees. Some live in the water and swim super fast and only one can fly, do you know what it is? Of course, the bat!
Most they are born from belly but the Zoo educator has taught us some that are born from eggs, in a photo because the Zoo have'nt it. What we have seen are those that have a pocket (marsupials) and other mammals like us that do none of that.
We have been able to see some of the young with their mothers, some still drink milk like mangabey or gorilla young and those who are no longer so small and eat the same as mothers like the giraffe or the little orix.
We had a great time discovering all the curiosities of our cousins!
