The invisible work of wetlands
Did you know that wetlands act as real natural filters? In this family activity, we will learn about the importance of these ecosystems and what we can do to protect them. We will also see how a pilot plant we have built imitates the functioning of wetlands by filtering and recycling water from the Zoo’s facilities so it can be reused.
Come visit this plant and our naturalised pond, and join us in the laboratory to experiment and see how nature and technology can work together!
This activity is part of the LIFE4Zoo co-funded by the European Union.
