Experience the Zoo Camps!

The Zoo camps offer an enriching educational experience that invites children and young people to discover the importance of preserving biodiversity. Through participative and dynamic activities, participants become active agents in protecting the planet.

During the school holidays at Christmas and Easter, as well as in the summer months, children aged 5 to 14 can enjoy a space where they can connect, share, and grow with others. They will learn values such as cooperation, respect, and environmental responsibility, while developing a conscious and commited outlook towards the future.

Steps to complete registration

Choose the camp and make the payment

Select the camp and complete the online payment.

Fill in the form

You will recive a form by email where you must complete the details of the registred children.

Attach the documentation

You will recive a second email that you must reply to, attaching the requiered documents and proof of payment.

Confirm the registration

Once the documentation has been reviewed, you will recive a confirmation email.

It is essential to complete the first 3 steps at the same time in order to confirm the registration.

Registration: from April 27 to June 5

Before you start, you must have the scanned documentation ready:

Passport-sized photo of the child.

Health card.

Updated vaccination record or declaration of non-vaccination.

ID of the parent of guardian.

Single-parent or large family certificate (if applicable).

Zoo CLub membership card (if applicable).

Practical Information

Detailed schedule

8:50 - Entrance through the Ciutadella Park access.
9:15 - Start of the camp and presentation of the daily activities.
9:30 a 12:30 - Activities with animals around the Zoo grounds, variable depending on the day and the theme of the camp (in between we take a break for breakfast).
13:00 a 14:00 - Lunch.
13:00 - Departure of the children who only come to camp in the morning.
14:00 a 14:45 - Recreation time.
15:00 a 16:00 - Field work: games, workshops, manual works, drawing and group dynamics among other activities.
16:15 - Collection of children through the Ciutadella Park access.

What do you need to bring?

- Boys and girls must wear comfortable and appropriate clothes for the time of the year. It is advisable for the little ones to bring a spare set of clothes.

- It is important that children bring a canteen to stay hydrated, sunscreen (better applied at home) and a cap to protect themselves from the sun (depending on the time of the year).

- The use of mobile phones, cameras or electronic games is not allowed during the activities.

- We are not responsible for valuables brought by children that are not necessary for the camp (mobile phones, electronic games, cameras, money, etc.)
