Primate Day
Let's celebrate International Primate Day!
Sunday, September 6, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm two of the organisations with which the Zoo works to protect primates --SOS Primates and the Borneo Nature Foundation-- will be at Barcelona Zoo with an information stand and activities to celebrate International Primate Day, which is observed every year on 1 September.

11:00 am Chimpanzees
11:00 am Grey mangabeys
11:30 am Gorillas
11:45 am Drills
12:00 pm Chimpanzees

1:30 pm Drills
And from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, workshops with volunteers from SOS Primates and the Borneo Nature Foundation at their stands next to the orangutans, where you can learn about their work to help protect these species, our closest relatives in the animal kingdom.
