The P4 class has come to the Zoo to learn more about the wolves and in particular the Iberian wolf.
They have been fortunate to see them come from up close as they come to greet their children as they approach their territory.
This is how they have been able to see very well their size, the colors of their hair, such as their ears, eyes and mouth.
And they have realized that the male was sleeping, he has taught us that wolves are nocturnal and that is why they rest or sleep during the day. They have been able to experience how they are able to move through the forest completely silently so that they can hunt or flee humans if needed.
They have also seen the animals that are eaten and what they eat at the Zoo.
Finally they have learned how to communicate by marking the territory, with the different positions of the ears, tail and lips.
These boys and girls today have become part of our pack !.
