IES MILÀ I FONTANALS VISITS ENDANGERED ANIMALS!

m

ESO first year students visit us to learn about the threats to the planet 's biodiversity.

They have visited different endangered species, they have known the causes and solutions, that is, what scientists are doing to conserve them both in their habitat and in different European zoos like ours. And the importance of education in this regard !.

The educators of the Zoo have explained to them the different degrees of threats, who poses them and how the species visited are currently. And how EEPs and STBs work.

Also the reintroduction projects in which the Zoo actively participates for the conservation of both exotic and native fauna, which has been given much importance in recent years. Not in vain we have one of the most endangered mammals in our territory: the polecat and one of the most endangered amphibians in Western Europe: the newt of Montseny!
