Little rangers 2

We are the smallest of explorers but we will also travel around the world looking for animals in the desert, the jungle, the forests and the oceans.

We are always very careful and respectful, while our Zoo educator tells us a lot of things about the animals that we meet. It's great!

Animal gastronomy 3

Animal diets are as varied as there are animals in the world. From fruit, vegetables and meat to fish, feed or insects. Everything that grows can be edible for any living being and this fact is a great opportunity to better understand how the world works.

Great naturalist

Charles Darwin, Humboldt, Dian Fossey, Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente were great naturalists. They saw the world with different eyes, they contemplated nature and saw that everything was related, everything was tied together and that there was nothing from the hand of chance.

Ximp mundial day!

Today, World Chimpanzee Day has been connected through an activity with a Zoo educator, as are the profiles and differences of us, the dangers facing Africa, and the Zoo’s breeding programs in captivity and collecting animals as confiscations that years are part of the zoo's chimpanzee family, more than four aspects of their biology and ecology.

He introduced him to our family members, who he is and who the role of Everyone Inside the Same is.

Mammals 2

In this camp we have entered the fantastic world of mammals.

From the heaviest terrestrials like the elephant, to the only flying ones like the bats, to the biggest ones like the whales and to the smallest ones like the shrews.

From the closest to us, to the primates, to the closest to dolphins like the hippopotamus !.

Zoo Keepers and Vets 4

In the photo above you see us working on the Zoo farm, we are cleaning the yard of the rake goats, you can look at the material we use. It’s not always the same, Zoo keepers of macaws or komodo dragons use other utensils. It must be taken into account whether the animal is dangerous or not and the type of substrate in the installation.

Zoo Keepers and Vets 3

In the photo you see us practicing with our patients !. All the material is real but there is nothing that hurts us like needles ... We also went to see the veterinary clinic of the Zoo so that even if the animals are well cared for sometimes they get sick or they have to be helped to get rid of the parasites or to get vaccinated ...

Here they are lucky to have 3 vets and different assistants who are like nurses and help at all times to keep the animals in good health.

Zoo keepers and Vets 1

We are the youngest apprentices of Zoo keepers and veterinarians.

In this camp we have learned everything they need to live well such fantastic animals as reptiles, birds, amphibians and mammals. Everyone needs cleaning, food and toys (enrichments) !. But a crocodile is not as clean as a turtle or a macaw or a lion or a donkey !. And they don’t eat the same thing either !.
