As every year, Barcelona Zoo collaborates with AFANOC (Association of Families and Friends of Children with Cancer) in organizing the charity event “Wear Your Cap Day” (Posa’t la Gorra).
Join us at the Zoo on Sunday, 28 June, and purchase your charity ticket at a very special price*, including a cap designed by illustrator Joan Turu to celebrate the event’s 25th anniversary.
Adult price (13 years and over): €15.50 (includes Zoo admission and 1 cap)
Child price (3 to 12 years): €10.95 (includes Zoo admission and 1 cap)
Children under 3 years of age enjoy free admission. Please request your €0 ticket at the ticket office.
Take part as well in the special 25th anniversary “Wear Your Cap Day” workshop, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lady with the Umbrella Square (Plaça de la Dama del Paraigua).
In addition, the Zoo’s education team has prepared plenty of family activities.
HOW DO I BUY MY TICKET + JOAN TURU CAP?
Purchase your tickets now on our website, exclusively online, or at the Zoo ticket office on 28 June.
If you buy your tickets online, on the day of the event you can validate them directly at the entrance turnstiles using your mobile phone, without having to stop at the ticket office first!
Cap collection (1 cap per ticket): at the AFANOC tent in Lady with the Umbrella Square from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., upon presentation of your ticket on 28 June.
Zoo Club members will be able to purchase the cap at a special price.

Barcelona Zoo has supported AFANOC since the very first Wear Your Cap Day event, 25 years ago.
This year’s cap is both a tribute and a call to continue walking this path together. We’re proud to be part of it!
AFANOC’s 2025–26 campaign highlights the importance of supporting the immediate environment of children and young people with cancer, ensuring they receive not only healthcare but also recreational and educational support.
