MONTESSORI SCHOOL MEETS THE BROWN BEARS

m

Second graders have studied brown bears at school and have come to the Zoo to become all experts !.

From the hand of the Zoo educator they have been able to see different mammals to learn the common features and differences with the brown bear.

Once in front of the bears they have acted as explorers looking for their footprints, reviewing what they eat, how they reproduce, how and where they live !.

This is the largest mammal on the peninsula and we are lucky that it lives in our home!

They have also learned of the dangers that lie on the mountain and what we can do to help them! And not only that but what the zoo does to help them!

They have left quietly,  the big bears were resting!
